Cookie Policy

Updated October 3, 2026

This page explains the cookies wordpressmaintenances.com uses and how you can control them. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser.

Cookies we use

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets two cookies:

  • _ga: tells visits from different browsers apart. Kept for up to 2 years.
  • _ga_L3R850TZB6: keeps track of your current visit. Kept for up to 2 years.

Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. We don't run advertising on this site.

Our forms

The site check, emergency, contact and site details forms are run by WS Form. When you use a form, it may set a cookie starting with ws_form_ so it can recognise your submission. It lasts up to 28 days.

Logged-in users

If you log in to this website (only our team does), WordPress sets cookies starting with wordpress_ and wp- to keep you logged in. Visitors don't get these.

Payments

When you choose a plan, you pay on Stripe's checkout page, not on this website. Stripe sets its own cookies there under its own privacy policy.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site still works without them, but we won't see your visit in Google Analytics.

To stop Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
